I am pleased to be included in a dynamic group show of contemporary painting, sculpture, photography, tapestry, and works on paper curated by art advisor Michelle Bello at Sloan Miyasato. With more than 25 years of professional art market expertise Michelle meticulously culls work from a network of the finest artist studios, private collections, art presses, and nationally recognized galleries. This latest show features work fresh from the studios of emerging and mid-career artists, as well as museum-quality pieces by established names.
“Black Daisy” is a large scale acrylic painting created in my Oakland studio in 2015. The piece reflects my ongoing interest in the exploration of the possibilities of paint and its vernacular. I hope you will take time to see this beautiful and encompassing show of work.
